STONE BREWING CO. Ruination Double IPA 2.0 Damn, this was really good. Great effort from Stone, one of the best beers I have tried in awhile.

BROOKLYN BREWERY - K Is For Kriek "Ale brewed with honey, dark candy syrup and orange peel aged in bourbon barrels on whole cherries." Really nice aroma with a lot going on; lots and lots of cherries. I really didn't notice much from the barrel aging until it warmed then it had some nice bourbon and oak notes. Very tasty, very unique and complex with no notice of the 10.1 ABV. The only downside is the price, its expensive for a 750 ml bottle. Well worth trying once, but not one I would buy again although I would be very curious what some cellaring would do for it.

DARK HORSE BREWING COMPANY - Sapient Trip Ale Pretty standard tripel, nothing special. Very drinkable with the 9.5% ABV.

BASE CAMP BREWING COMPANY - In-Tents IPL First beer I have tried from Base Camp. Very nice lager. Really like the aluminum bottle. I would have again anytime. Clean, crisp and refreshing. Like the slogan on the bottom of the bottle: "Soak in a mountain river. Chill in the snow. Cool off in a lake. Refrigerate if you have to."

BOULEVARD BREWING CO. - Ginger Lemon Radler Very nice summer beer. Enjoyed while on a bike ride on the Central Lakes Trail. Very refreshing and easy to drink.

TYRANENA BREWING COMPANY - Fatal Attraction Imperial IPA Another solid beer from their Brewers Gone Wild series. Any of them are definitely worth giving a try.

FULTON BEER - Maitrise Imperial Farmhouse Ale Very nice farmhouse saison. Don't see too many Imperial ones. Well done.

BALLAST POINT BREWING COMPANY - Habanero Sculpin IPA Not sure why I keep buying and trying these pepper/hot beers. I'm sure they have their fans, but they are just not for me.
Update
I was asked why I never post any music anymore that I'm listening to. Not sure why, I obviously did it when I started this blog, but kind of gave up when I finished that first year challenge (for those that are new, go back to the beginning) and just posted new beers. So, for the few that actually still check this out from time to time I will post some of what I'm listening to and some of the live shows I go to too.

STONE BREWING CO. - Southern Charred 2013. 2015 Double Bastard Ale aged in bourbon barrells with a 12.6% ABV. Great aroma, there is a lot going on. Great taste too, a little alcohol burn and some slight smokiness, but nowhere near as much as I was expecting. Very complex. Be interesting to see what some more aging does for it, but it was hard enough to find this one bottle.
