EVIL TWIN BREWING - Imperial Biscotti Chili Hazelnut Break      "Imperial Stout brewed with coffee and chili with hazelnut  and vanilla extracts added."   Whenever I see chili or peppers added, I get nervous. Too much heat in too many beera I have tried, but this one was done really well. Nice balance.

FLYING DOG BREWERY - Brewhouse Rarities Snake Oil Black Lager       "Lager brewed and finished with fish peppers." Meant nothing to me, then in the small print I see "inspired by snake oil hot sauce."  Pouring this, I could almost smell the fire. Way to hot, and if you didn't look closely, boy would you be in for a surprise.

GOOSE ISLAND BEER CO. - Brasserie Noir Imperial Stout 2018        Ok, all you Goose Island haters, as everyone and their brother is doing whiskey/bourbon aged stouts, Goose Island throws this out there. Stout "aged in Cabernet Barrels for up to 12 months." Nice change of pace. Very complex, a lot going on. Amazing, but have a feeling this will age well. Glad I snagged a few extra.
