SURLY BREWING COMPANY - CYNICALE The aroma on this one seems to have a lot going on. I pick up some floral notes, peach, honey, pear, apricot, and some peppery spices. Tasty banana up front, but it is pretty subdued, some floral notes and pepper. Maybe a little too much pepper for my taste and the overall taste seems a little less complex than the aroma. Not bad though, another nice beer from Surly, but probably my least favorite beer of theirs i have tried so far. Having said that though, it is still well worth trying, seemed to actually get better as it warmed.
SYSTEM OF A DOWN - TOXICITY Sophmore album from this hard rock band. Very political and serious subject matter us kind of their thing. They take on sll comes on this one. Very hard to descrube their music. Lots of speed changes, hardcore vocals, soft songs, great range. Its very unique and needs to be listened to to really understand, nothing really compares. Not for eveyone, but i wanted something aggressive and fast this morning to get me going. Favorites: Prison Song, Jet Pilot, Chop Suey, Bounce, Forest, ATWA, and Aerials.
